Matteo Corradini

He was born in 1975 in Borgonovo Val Tidone (Italy). He has a degree in Oriental languages and literature with a major in Jewish language at the University “Ca’ Foscari” in Venice. He writes books for adults and youngsters. He deals mainly with Hebraism, Teaching methodology of the Shoah, education and expression. He teaches Methods and techniques of entertainment and animation and Team-work methodology at the Catholic University of Piacenza. He contributes to the monthly magazine Andersen and the Children’s bookshop of Milan. As guest author he takes part to national and international festivals: Festivaliterature in Mantova, European days of Children’s literature. In 2001 he won the Benassi Price assigned by the journalists fraternity to the best young journalist of Emilia Romagna (a region in Northern Italy). In 2004 he won the first national price Alberto Manzi, organized by the Rai (Italian Television) and the University of Bologne, for the best educational children’s work. His last books: Creare (Creating), Erickson 2007, Il mestolo della signora Adele (The wooden spoon of Mrs. Adele), Editrice Berti 2008.
